in 2006, Karen Walker decided to ditch the runway for a launch of her summer 06/07 eyewear collection entitled 'Vote Karen Walker Eyewear'.

The event, hosted on-site on the day before fashion week began, played host to 300 VIP guests who imitated world leaders and dictators by posing in a fake press conference while wearing the new Karen Walker Eyewear range.
