Kathryn Wilson is New Zealand’s premier footwear designer. After studying footwear design internationally Kathryn returned to New Zealand to start her own label. Kathryn continues to deliver stunningly simple collections and her designs are worn all over the world.

After a stellar 2010 that saw Kathryn launch a diffusion line, Miss Wilson, to much acclaim in New Zealand and Australia, Kathryn pushed forward with vigour in 2011 and has reached new heights. A foray into footwear retail and a big break into the Hong Kong market are two major highlights that will see the continued rise of the Kathryn Wilson brand.

New Zealand Fashion Week 2011 was the scene for yet another stunning Kathryn Wilson catwalk show that wrapped up the week’s trade events to media and buyers. The event was promoted as the first ever fashion week trade event for the public, so on top of 800 industry VIP’s, devotees of Kathryn’s accessible luxe style were treated to a star-studded show including the best-of-the-best models from New Zealand’s fashion scene, plus a finale by one of New Zealand’s leading lights in music, Kimbra!
