A continuation in championing luxury street, ksubi’s WAR eyewear collection creates a hybrid aesthetic that combines ideas and techniques from classic steam punk, traditional biker, hip hop and sports. Adding to this repertoire with 12 unisex styles across sun and optical, the collection remains sharp, classic and modernized.
Colour and print are defined through ksubi's WAR autumn/winter 2012 ready-to-wear collection; ksubi's own acetate developments include custom coloured and printed acetates and ksubi’s signature leopard print, along with rich crystal reds and browns. High shine, metals laminated with leather and luxe leather detailing blend original and timeless elements to achieve a trademark style.
Along with ksubi’s seasonal staples, key styles for the season include; RANA, a classic, oversized shape with exaggerated wing like tips in ksubi leopard print with contrasted crystal red and brown temples. CISCO, a military aviator fused with luxe leather detailing. BELLATRIX, a new colourway of the best seller featuring ksubi’s leopard print and ksubi’s take on the explorer goggle, ATLAS, featuring a metal with acetate rimmed round shape with leather detailing.
New season optical shapes include VOLANS, a perfect interpretation of a classic cats eye with a modern twist in contrasting crystal red and brown. TELESCOPIUM, a round rimless frame featuring an acetate top bar and temples and BOOTES, an optical version of ksubi’s favourite sun shape BELLATRIX.
