Following the recent collaboration with British designer Henry Holland and the most successful season, iconic sunglass label Le Specs has released its new Season Preview 2012 collection.

The new Le Specs collection of 28 pieces channels an early nineties Texas where oil barons, cowboys and road-trippers collide, resulting in a series of classic styles that incorporate nude tones with neon colour-pop effects.
Le Specs designer Hamish Tame explains “The look of the new collection was inspired by the oil-rich wildcatters of the Midwest, and the road tripping characters from Thelma & Louise. Tans and nudes are generally used in soft feminine ways in eyewear, however the concept behind this range was to use the palette and really make it more modern - and slightly tough, by using a series of mirrored lenses and masculine shapes.”
Highlight pieces from the collection include:
Lethal Clutch a feminine cats-eye style in tan or matte black, toughened up with mirrored lenses. Zephyr a small round metal style in gold with tortoiseshell piping detail, or gold with soft blue lenses The Raven a fine-rimmed square wayfarer style in tan or tort with a neon metal top bar insert. Thunderbird a classic aviator in gold with nude detailing, or black with red oil slick mirror lenses
