We've landed some great new clients recently, so the showroom is looking full and exciting for winter 2010!
The newbies include adidas by Stella McCartney, adidas Originals, Salasai and Charmaine Reveley.
We've also had an addition to the Sunshades portfolio with the new Ksubi Eyewear collection, 'Book Club' for 2010.

The collection was launched at Karen’s Fall/Winter 2010/2011 show at New York Fashion Week.
Showroom 22 to represent talented fashion graduates
AUT honours fashion student Glenn Yungnickel will be leading a very talented bunch of 2009 fashion graduates who are being represented pro bono by Showroom 22 for the Winter 2010 season.
These guys ooze talent and are the future of our fashion industry. Watch this space.

Charmaine is originally from Dunedin and has joined Showroom 22 for the Fall/Winter 2010 season.
During her first week at Showroom 22 she had loans to a wide range of media and celebs including Keisha Castle-Hughes who took one of Charmaine’s designs to the awards season in LA!
Charmaine's designs convey a keen sense of feminine form and lines that flatter that silhouette. Colour is used throughout the collection, giving a sense of optimism amid traditional winter greys, blacks and muted tones.
A deft use of screen prints gives the Charmaine Reveley collection a mature and considered feel.

The Department Store is finally here!
The Department Store is set to open this Tuesday 27th October in Takapuna with the grand opening set for November 6th bringing a multi-dimensional experience of art, beauty and fashion into one chic location.
This exciting new project is the brainchild of Karen Walker, Stephen Marr and Black Box.
As New Zealand’s newest example of international retail thinking, the innovative new space will operate over three levels. The Department Store will showcase a fresh selection of the best creative brands New Zealand has to offer.

Kathryn Wilson has lent her creative hand to New York makeup empire Maybelline by designing a limited-edition stiletto to complement the launch of its Lash Stiletto lengthening mascara.
Kathryn Wilson for Breast Cancer Foundation
Fabulous shoe designer Kathryn Wilson teamed up with Sunday Magazine to create a one-off pair of baby pink heels.
The shoes are being auctioned on TradeMe to raise money to fight against breast cancer.
Twenty-Seven Names Wins ANZFW Competition!
Twenty-Seven Names were the talented winners of the ANZFW Runway to Runway short film competition.
During Fashion Week New Zealand voted out of 8 fashion labels for their favourite short film. Directional label, Twenty-Seven Names, had the highest number of votes and won a $10,000 Air New Zealand travel prize. Congrats!
CAST YOUR VOTE
Vote in the Runway to Runway competition! 8 designers were invited to create an outfit suitable for a comfortable long haul flight and instantly ready for fashion week runway action.

The designer with the highest number of votes when the competition closes will also win a $10,000 travel prize on the Air New Zealand network.

Kathryn Wilson is teaming up with the Auckland YWCA for the third year in a row to help raise money for their 'Future Leaders' program.
Kathryn, who won an AMP Scholarship in 2002, is a long-term supporter of the YWCA program and her event this year will give the public a chance to buy her summer '09 shoes at auction, plus win the chance to design their own shoes with Kathryn.

This cute little boy and his dog have found a new home in Karen Walker's new Ponsonby boutique.
