Established in 2006 by designer Kirsha Whitcher, the Salasai label has fast gained a reputation as being a major player in New Zealand fashion, known for its effortlessly cool and sophisticated codes on dressing, created with the modern woman in mind.
The label's presence in fashion media has risen dramatically of late, bringing with it a strong following of fashion-savvy fans.

Season 11 for Salasai represents a renewed spirit of colour, proportion and construction.
Simply entitled 'Green', the collection focuses on modern minimalism, re-enforced by newly developed shapes.
Highlighting botancial references in a typically subversive manner, the collection features an exclusively designed print by Salasai of magnified florals on black linen and silk, button-up, pleated, drop-waist dresses, languid crepe de chine pieces and clean-cut overalls for both sexes.
Soft tailoring is key to the collection, with lightweight single-breast and double-breasted blazers paired with sharp shorts and pants.
Having recently re-located to Perth, Western Australia in 2012, the New Zealand label has developed over time its own brand values and distinctive aesthetic, providing a modern unisex identity synonymous to Salasai.
